Terms for United States business and professional use of BankStatements.us.
These terms govern accounts, authorized document processing, subscriptions, service limits, and the responsibilities of professional customers.
Eligibility and agreement
BankStatements.us is for United States business and professional use only. You must be at least 18 and agree to these terms and the Privacy Policywhen you continue through account creation or an available evaluation flow. You represent that you own or are authorized to process every document you upload, including client documents.

The document service and results
The service accepts supported financial documents, extracts structured information, runs deterministic validation and reconciliation checks, and makes results and supported exports available for a limited period. Supported formats, limits, and capabilities are shown in the product at the time of use. Results may contain errors. You must review them before accounting, tax, lending, compliance, audit, or other financial decisions.
Customer responsibilities
You are responsible for obtaining all permissions and notices required for submitted documents, checking results for accuracy and completeness, maintaining your own records, downloading results before they expire, and using the service in accordance with law and professional obligations. BankStatements.us is a processing tool and does not replace professional judgment.
Acceptable use
You may not upload unauthorized documents or use the service for fraud, identity theft, impersonation, unlawful surveillance or profiling, account intrusion, malware, unapproved security testing, denial of service, service disruption, circumvention of limits, billing, access controls, or rate limits, or any other unlawful activity.
Subscriptions and billing
If paid subscriptions become available, they will automatically renew until cancelled. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period, and service or allowance continues through that period. There are no partial-period refunds except where required by law. Pricing and renewal terms will be shown before purchase. Public checkout is not currently available.
Ownership and feedback
You retain ownership of documents, extracted data, and other content you submit. You grant Edda Corp the limited rights needed to host, process, secure, support, and deliver the service. BankStatements.us and its software, design, documentation, and trademarks remain the property of Edda Corp and its licensors. If you provide feedback, you permit us to use it without restriction or compensation, provided we do not identify you publicly without permission.
Third-party services
The service relies on the providers listed in our Trust Center. Their services may be subject to separate terms and operational limits. We remain responsible for selecting and configuring providers for the BankStatements.us service, but we do not control third-party networks or services outside our systems.
Service availability and changes
The service may change, undergo maintenance, be suspended, or be discontinued. We will give reasonable notice for material planned changes where practical, but urgent security, reliability, or legal work may occur without notice. We may add, remove, or change features and limits as the product develops.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access for Terms violations, payment failure, security or fraud risk, abuse, or legal requirements. We will provide reasonable notice when practical and may act immediately for urgent risk. Upon termination, your right to use the service ends. Data remains subject to the published retention and deletion periods.
Disclaimers
To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. Reconciliation and other checks reduce risk but do not guarantee that every extracted field is correct. Nothing in these terms excludes a warranty that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Edda Corp’s total liability arising from the service is limited to fees you paid for the service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, lost-profit, lost-revenue, lost-business, or lost-data damages. These limits do not apply where prohibited by law.
Indemnity, governing law, and contact
You will indemnify Edda Corp for third-party claims arising from unauthorized documents, unlawful or prohibited use, material Terms violations, third-party rights violations, or your content or conduct, except to the extent caused by Edda Corp’s own misconduct or breach. Delaware law governs these terms, and Delaware state or federal courts have exclusive venue. For questions, email support@bankstatements.us.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service changes. The page will show a new effective date and material-change notice. When paid accounts are active, we will also provide email or in-product notice for material changes when practical. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated terms unless applicable law requires a different form of consent.
